 Travel agents earn their income from commissions and fees.  Last year over $7 billion was paid out to travel agents.  Suppliers reward agents who sell their products by offering them commissions and great travel perks.  Commissions can be both built in or added to the product’s price.  Supplier commissions can be as high as 45 percent.  The average commission on cruise and vacation packages and car and hotel reservations is 10%. Last year the average full service retail travel agency earned over $200,000 in commissions and fees.

HIGHEST PAYOUT

As your partner in business, TIX has a vested interest in your success.  We receive a small percentage of the commission for bookings made through us.  The amount of the commission that you keep is known as the payout.  Your payout depends on how the reservation is made and your annual sales volume.  The more you sell, the higher your payout goes.  TIX agents get the highest commission payout, keeping between 70 to 100% of the suppliers’ commission.

You have the freedom to choose any travel supplier you want.  Best of all, you can take advantage or our buying power and earn higher commissions using our preferred suppliers.  They consist of over 100 well-known cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, car rentals and hotel chains.  You work smarter, not harder, and get up to 50% more commission from the same sale.  You earn more money, and your clients take advantage of special deals and upgrades.

SERVICE FEE INCOME

Many agents are earning big profits through service fees.  You have the option to add a service fee to almost anything; from planning a complex honeymoon to issuing airline tickets.  Our new Service Fee Kit has all the instructions and materials you need to implement fees.  TIX can also process your credit card and checks-by-fax service fees.   

There is a $20 per ticket service fee to issue airline tickets.  This is one of the lowest fees in the industry!  You receive half of the fee for every ticket we issue.  If you include a car or hotel reservation in an online booking then you have the option to add the service fee.

 

NO HIDDEN CHARGES

There are no surprises at TIX.  Other companies charge you extra fees: a fee per ticket, a fee for handwritten tickets, a fee for exchanges, a fee for refunded tickets, a fee for agent discount tickets, a fee for rush orders, and monthly royalties and advertising fees.  All these fees can cost you more than your commission!  All the fees that our competition charge you can cost you more than your commission!  Every fee they charge is money out of your pocket.  Remember it’s not what you earn - it’s what you keep!

 

SALES REPORTS

You receive comprehensive commission reports from our exclusive Salestrak  accounting system.  Every sale is monitored and itemized on your statement.  Giving you detailed client, agent, product and earnings analysis.  Commission checks are issued monthly so you receive a constant revenue flow.
