TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE BOOKINGS
1.
Ticket
Processing Fee:
There is a separate non-refundable $10 per ticket transaction fee added
to the fare for each paying passenger ticketed. All bookings that have a
service fee are eligible for our Travel Rewards program. Please click
here form complete information about Travel Rewards. There is no
ticket processing fee added if a car and or hotel reservation is made at the
time the airline ticket reservation is made.
2.
NAMES:
Name
change is not permitted once reservation has been confirmed.
3.
TELEPHONE
CONTACT:
A valid phone number is required to
secure your booking.
4.
CREDIT
CARDS:
A
valid U.S. bank credit card must be used at the time the fare is reserved, or
tickets cannot be delivered or issued. We will notify you by e-mail if your
reservation is cancelled due to an invalid credit card, credit card address or
other reason why a ticket may not be issued. This may result in a higher fare
when your credit card charge amount has been cleared, and you may advise us
whether or not you wish to purchase the tickets at the new price.
Your name and home address must exactly match the address on your
monthly credit card statement from the issuing bank or the transaction will be
denied. You must also be able to receive the tickets at the address you placed
in your personal file; someone must be available to sign for the tickets when
they arrive at the profile listed address; or you must leave a signature
waiver note to authorize an unreceipted delivery of tickets. Failure to do so
may mean that you will not receive your tickets in time for travel.
5.
FARES:
We are not responsible for fare increases for bookings that are a
result of bookings not confirmed with a valid booking record locator.
Fares are subject to change until credit card is provided and approved.
In rare instances, listed fares occasionally may not include additional
surcharges, fees or taxes which may be charged in addition to the listed fare.
If this is the case, we will notify you by email of any difference between the
actual fare and the listed fare, and you may advise us whether or not you wish
to purchase the tickets at the new price.
6.
ELECTRONIC TICKETS:
If Electronic ticketing is not
available, paper tickets will be sent to credit cardholder's billing address
only and a delivery fee will apply.
7.
SEATS AND MEALS:
Meal and seat preferences will be
passed on to the airline, but cannot be guaranteed. Seats for all passengers
will be selected automatically based on the best seats available and adjacent
to the primary passenger, if possible.
8.
VOIDS:
A non-refundable $20 ticket
processing fee will be charged if a ticket is issued and subsequently voided
due to passenger request. Voids
may not be available for all tickets. Void
requests must be made within 24 hours of ticket issuance.
9.
VERIFY:
Please read and review all documents when you receive them.
Your agent makes every effort to confirm reservations accurately and
completely. We therefore,
urgently request you review the itinerary for accuracy on such items as:
correct spelling of name(s), flight times, airlines and fare paid.
If there are any discrepancies at all, you must contact your agent
within 24 hours of delivery. If
TIX does not receive a call within 24 hours, it is acknowledged that tickets
and/or documents received have been reviewed and are accurate as booked.
10.
RECONFIRMATIONS: This
itinerary is based on schedules and fares in effect today.
Since occasional changes occur, please reconfirm directly with the
appropriate airline. Reconfirm
flight times 24 hours before domestic flights and 72 hours before
international flights. Failure to
use any portion of your ticket may result in automatic cancellation of all
continuing and return reservations. Please
advise the airline if your travel plans change enroute.
11.
TIMES: All
times shown are local time as observed in the city shown.
12.
CHECK-IN: Allow
a minimum check in time of 1 hour for domestic flights and 2 hours for
international flights. Check-in
later than these times could result in denied boarding.
13.
OVERBOOKING: Airline flights may be overbooked.
A person denied boarding on a flight may be entitled to a compensatory
payment by the airline. The rules for denied boarding compensation are available at
all airline ticket counters.
14.
CHANGES
OR CANCELLATIONS:
To change or cancel your flight itinerary, call your agent or the
airline you are scheduled to take. If
canceling, return the unused tickets to your agent for credit or refund where
applicable. Most special, excursion, and discount tickets have various
travel restrictions and may have a penalty for change or cancellations.
Some fares are non-refundable and are subject to the terms and
conditions as set forth by the airline. All
non-refundable tickets have an airline and or agency service fee for any
changes. Most airlines impose a
$100 per ticket change or cancellation
fee after any non-refundable DOMESTIC ticket is issued. A $150 per ticket
change or fee applies after any non-refundable INTERNATIONAL ticket is issued.
Check with your agent or the airline for current fees.
15.
TICKETS: Cancelled
or unused tickets must be returned for proper credit to your account.
Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets must be paid for until refund is
received from the issuing carrier, subject to an airline/agency imposed
service charge. Airline tickets
and/or unused portions of tickets may be worth money.
Lost, stolen, or destroyed airline tickets cannot be replaced or
refunded without considerable cost and inconvenience.
Protect your tickets. Paper
tickets are heat sensitive, keep in a cool dry place.
16.
PHOTO
ID: All passengers are now required to show positive
photo identification (such as driver's license or passport) before boarding an
aircraft. Passengers who charged
an electronic ticket may be required to show the credit card used to purchase
the ticket at the gate.
17.
TRAVEL
DOCUMENTS: All
passengers traveling outside of the US are required to have certain travel
documents: a valid passport, a round-trip airline ticket or proof of onward
travel, a visa issued by some destination countries, medical inoculations for
infected areas/countries, proof of sufficient funds when entering the
destination country (some countries have a departure tax payable at the
airport before departing the country). Each passenger is responsible to obtain
the proper travel documents prior to purchasing airline tickets. Contact the
destination country's consulate for details. The name on all travel documents
(tickets, passports, visas) must match.
18.

CHARGE: A
service charge may apply for revisions, name changes, voids, reissues,
exchanges, cancellations or special services.
Service charges are non-refundable.
Check with your agent for current fees.
19.
TOURS/CRUISES: Prices
are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations, tariff
changes, fuel surcharges or increase in operational costs. In addition, group
tours/packages are based on a minimum number of passengers traveling; if the
number of passengers falls below the minimum required, a surcharge may be
imposed on all passengers.
20.
HOTELS: Deposits,
guarantees and prepayments are subject to the hotel's cancellation policy.
If your trip is cancelled or changed during a time when the agency is
closed, telephone the hotel directly and cancel the reservation to avoid
penalties.
21.
REFUNDS: Refunds
from airlines, tour companies, cruise lines and hotels will be made 4-8 weeks
after the supplier has credited the agency.
